Well said, Jon ! Having an EMI under my roof was a goal some time
ago.

Was impressed upon seeing the nice wooden cabinet of two EMI-400's
(Dave Shapiro from our list, and Dave Amels of my former NJ home-town) .

When I bought Felix Pappalardi's Tron in NYC from his former mgr,
that led to my finding an M300. In turn , that led me to "Julia" (Robert

Laughton / Gordon Reid ). Shall I refuse an EMI only because someone
on eBay thinks it's a "kit?" .....NADA......

Long-live the unicorn ! ( EMI, 4-Track , Robert Webb/Gordon Reid's
Half-A-Tron , JKMK6 , J-Tron and more......) Signed, the Irish Rovers
