In all those rare self-recorded tapes of the Me= llotron history it's propably the most obscure of all. What you have to tell us all is... how ma= ny did you paid :-) ? And did they realize how rare it is with or without those tapes? Something different: I had a pub gig with my band =BBQuasifunk=AB yesterday= evening and during the acoustic part of the set we used the Tron for the simulation the= horrible heavy pump-organ (nobody wanted to carry it again - we also had a CP-70 with us!)= . To get a more or less long pedal note I suggested to switch to half-speed and use th= e cello sound. With great success! But the short added H from the double bass to fill the = tape gaps have been very low & sounding like a big monster saw... Also nice to get the feeling during the tape changes that you have a portab= le museum of scientific history. All those questions. Next time I have little signboards= =BBMellotron, ca 1972, ancient sort of sampler=AB etc. Nice.
