Mellotronists

Hey!
    Let's not forget that, thanks to China and their
agressive tech industry, we can now afford some very
decent microphones with which to record our amplified
'trons and such.  China's tendency towards mass
production of German other such design interpretations
has most  definitely changed the recording industry. 
Previously prohibitively- priced gear is now being
built inexpensively and quickly by the Chinese and
companies like Studio Projects and Pacific Pro Audio
make some fairly nice, reliable mics for the money. 
     Just a little re-connecting of the subject
matter.
