Mellotronists

While getting acquainted with my tron, I decided to play each note 
and listen carefully for anomolies, or "character" as it is called 
in tronspeak.

The flutes sound very nice, exactly like they do on Uriah 
Heep's "Come Away Melinda".  However, two notes stand out from the 
rest, being a little harsher.  It sounds like the violins on a 
neighboring track are coming through slightly and mixing with the 
flutes.  It's not a bad sound, but is it normal?  It could be a 
misaligned head or tape guide.

Also, on the violins, there were some odd thumps and something that 
sounds like a clock chiming.  Maybe if I keep listening longer I 
will hear a barking dog too?
