Mellotronists

I think Solsbury Hill is a real hill in Gloucestershire or Somerset or 
somewhere, nothing to do with the town of Salisbury. Not sure what 
the significance is though.

All right, I need help. Andy, you or somebody here 
must be able to explain the (mis)spelling of 
"Salisbury" in "Solsbury Hill." What on earth is up 
with that? Seriously, I'm hip-deep in an argument 
over this, and I need INFORMATION!!!
