Re: [Mellotronists] Zeppelin tron?

2003-04-01 by Alan Neva

My M400 is more awkward than heavy....so handles make sense.......the B-3
was certainly Hefty....but one of the heaviest things I've ever had to carry
was some lead singer or guitar player's EGO for 5 hours a night......

Just a burst from the rhythm section..... I'll get my coat, too....

one of the machines that showed up at the philly tron-a-thon had handles
on the ends (sides?). if i recall, they were not put in very carefully.
(careless work both inside and out have been the curse of many trons :( )

i have picked up and carried my m400 up flights of stairs alone.
i am not very strong (that i am aware of at least).
it was not easy, and much huffin' and a puffin' ensued thereafter,
but are these really THAT hard to move around?
