The sample sets only work with the M-tron instrument which is a VST plugin so you will need a VST host such as Cubase to run it. In theory it should work with Cakewalk if you use a VST wrapper although I have yet to get this to work. I have used it as an M400 substitute by using the demo of Cubase (save is disabled). I confess, I have also used it at my mate's studio as he is Cubase based and it saved me lugging my M400 nearly 100 miles for a session.

PS: the Mellotron they sampled was pretty worn out as in some cases my real M400 sounds better than the sampled one!
