Hi all. Just got back from a fine gig at The Stables, Milton Keynes. The set included 21st Century Schizoid Man. Epitaph. ITCOTCK. I talk to the wind. Cat food. Pictures of a city. Plus music from Ian McDonald's solo album and Michael Giles one too. To me though, a revelation was JJ (ex Level 42) on guitar and vocals. He really carried the band, singing and playing with much energy. His voice matched the older material so well and his guitar work was as good if not better than RF himself! I hope some of are able to see the band for yourself sometime. It's well worth the price of a ticket. No mellotron though, just some poorish samples. Highlight? Definitely Epitaph. The words somehow seemed to take on a new relavance..."The fate of all mankind I fear, is in the hands of fools". Cheers. Andy K m400 EMI # E4/1405
