That's kind of disappointing. 
After everything I've read about the LM600, I thought it was supposed to
be a monster. What something like 600+ bhp and 0-60 times in the 4 sec
range?
Yet, they have most of the field ahead of them. Makes me wonder what
driving a GT spec BMW M3 would be like. My road car rocks, but sheesh!

The top GT car after practice is a Porsche GT3 R with a time of 
1:54:318 in 30th place.

The Mantara is 6 seconds and six MPH slower!!  Maybe qualifying will 
go better.

Hi guys,

Although the Grand Am results show Lockie/Euser in the Mantara the 
photo clearly shows a Mantis GTO car (albeit a very smart one) and 
the car is listed as GT, whereas last years car was a GTS like the 
Corvette.

The Mantis has never been competitive with the Porsche in GT/NGT, so 
it's not suprising that the car was not faster. There's also 
considerable doubt that Lockie and Euser actually drove the car -

Hi guys,

some info from the netherlands about the Marcos cars shown in daytona,

I have spoken with some people about the laptimes,

cor or calum weren't driving the lm600, so that might explain 
the "slow laptime". I'll say, just wait and see.

The blue mantis use to race in the netherlands with a sequential 
gearbox and a tuned 4.6 ltr (400+ bhp), i'm not sure if they use this 
setup for daytona. 

The new Lm600 of cor euser are in his workshop and looking great. 
Obviously the reason for selling the other three cars.
