Essex V6 oil filter

Essex V6 oil filter

2001-11-26 by Dan Orie

Does anyone know the correct part number of a popular US oil filter (fram,
purolator, etc.) for the Essex V6 engine?
Thanks,

Dan,

I use NAPA Gold 1521 on mine. That's a short one for clearance from
the headers. Fram PH2850 is the longer one but it's a tighter fit
clearance wise because of the length.

Website update!!!

2001-11-28 by Jeff Caraway

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that I have updated the Marcos Maniacs
website.
I have added information to the Chassis History page, so please check
your entry to make sure everything is correct.
I have also added a page for Paul Dransfield's awesome Marcos. Read all
about its history, modifications, and other info by clicking the
"Additional Info" link from the Chassis History page.
I would like to have a page like this for everyone's car, so I encourage
everyone to send me as much information on your car as you can.
(Pictures included!)
Mike Denman also thought it might be cool to have a picture of the owner
along with the car, so we could put faces with emails. Sounds like a
great idea to me!

Also check out the links page, as I have added a few.

As usual, please LMK what you think, and enjoy!

Website update!!!

2002-01-12 by Jeff Caraway

Hi All,
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have made some more cool additions to the Marcos Maniacs website.
We are up to 11 Feature Pages in the Marcos Registry that spotlight a particular car now! Check out Jac Myer's, Mike Denman's, Vic Foster's, and Dan Orie's cars among others.
Also, for those that may not have visited in a while, we now have a Project of the Month thanks to some cool contributions from Mike Denman.
Thanks again to everyone for your contributions and I hope to be making more cool additions in the near future, so keep visiting!
