It turned out to be simple....it was the second overflow connection that was plugged off, the other connection went to the remote overflow tank. The small diameter tube had broken (couldn't see it) at the neck of the fill connection. Problems solved.... well not exactly I have the radiator being cleaned and repaired but do not have a source for the rubber gromet / seal for the temperature switch. Any iteas?
