The part numbers would appear to be BMC or Triumph type reference numbers. I
would check with some of the bigger suppliers (like Rimmer Bros) for
listings on MG, Mini, or possibly TR4,5,6,Spitfire.

Thanks Donny
      I have sandblasted all the crud off the "scissor" (its amazing
how much crap collects on something buried inside a door}
  There is a part # stamped onto the arm which reads...7960626 RH.
........7960627 LH..I have the left hand "scissor" the right hand one
was missing when I bought the car. I have been to the "Big 3" parts
guys and the #'s don't match anything they have on record.....I
thought it might be a Ford piece as I know that Jag used some Ford
stuff in the 60's.
    Any leads greatly appreciated
