Hi Paul & Group
I have got the windows out of my car at the moment ........
the power window setup is pretty easy to remove there is a frame
behind the f'glass substructure that the regulator bolts to .
Undo the bolts and the whole mechanism should pull out .
I did replace both of the side windows on my car and to my surprise
they were not identical sizes one of the windows was about 2" taller
and about a half inch longer. I did also have the door window frames
stripped and powder coated to match the body color, they were also
(and obviously) different sizes which tells me that the molds, for the
door openings at least ,were less than perfect, not that it matters
after all they are basically hand built cars.
There have been quite a few surprises throughout my restoration
and I will put them down on paper at the end .......for the moment I
am trying to get the car finished in time for the Woodward Dream
Cruise in Detroit in August.........what do you think the musclecar
guys will think of a Brit car showing them up.?
Cheers Dave #5577
