Don, Thanks for the reply. I have already given up on trying to find the original type headlights my car came with. The remains on the car are for too far gone to restore. I was resigned to looking for some other setup to replace them. I would be most interested if you have extra servicable spares you would consider parting with.
As for the RHD to LHD conversion, your right, it is fun driving on the "wrong" side of the car. I have driven numerous RHD cars and it does tend to grow on you. The main reason for the conversion is I intend to drive this car on a regular basis. I commute nearly 40 miles each way to work on small two-lane roads with lots of slow traffic. Attempting to pass traffic is suicide in a RHD car. Another former Marcos owner relayed his experience using his Marcos for daily transport in South Florida. He recommended staying off two-lane roads if passing is necessary. Where I live, there is nothing but one narrow road with limited passing zones. Besides, the car can always be returned to its original form.
Please contact be about the headlights!

Welcome back Donny!

My '71 has the rectangular headlamps also of which I have two spares
if yours are not OK.

I'm curious as to the reason you want to switch to LHD. Half of the
fun of driving mine is the RHD. I was skeptical when I first
purchased it, but now wouldn't even consider swapping. Might want to
try it first if you already haven't.

Check out the "bookmarks" for other sites that might be helpful.
The "Marcos Maniacs" site has some links also.

Good luck!
