Svelte, I currently have a Lotus Elan type mirror on the driver's side and one of those "multi-mirror" things on the inside. The inside one is unobtrusive and allows me to see most of what's behind me and also what's on the passenger side. That's where people are passing me! I never thought I would like that type mirror but it came with the car. I initially replaced it with the original mirror and planned on installing two outside mirrors (even bought them!). Then I decided to install the window post mirrors that I had seen. Go to the "photos" section and look at the "25th Anniversary Brochure" picture to see what I mean. Also look at my photos. Finally just put on the multi-mirror thing and left the Elan mirror in place. I like the window post mirrors because they don't involve putting holes in the body which detracts from the lines of the car (my opinion). I'll keep mine because it's there! BTW, where are you located again??
