Hal, We haven't had leaded gas in California for many many years! I drove my Jensen-Healey for 120K miles on the unleaded with no problems. I've put 14K or so on the Marcos (V6) and just use unleaded with no additives. There has been a lot of discussion over the years about conversion from leaded to unleaded valves, etc. Both pros and cons. If I ever have to rebuild the engine I'll convert then. The US shocks are HAL shocks. www.halshocks.com They aren't cheap either. Can be purchased thru HAL or Summit Racing. Dave Barton has purchased HAL shocks for his. The problem I found was that they are 2 1/2" ID springs vs. the 2.25" springs. The 2.5" springs wouldn't fit my rear shock mounts without modification. They have a few different kinds so don't get confused. One type of coil-overs has soft compression (for hot rods). Let me know if you need help with them. I talked to the HAL folks and did a lot of research. Hope the schematics helped. Hurry up with those pics!!
