Hello Billy, I have a 1969 1600GT with a wooden chassis. I have managed to make my doors fit pretty well, however they don'y stay that way very long. The bumps and jolts from the Marcos' "smooth" suspension tends to knock them out of alignment about every 5 -10 trips, so I am constantly readjusting the hinges. This involves mostly re-aligning the door and re-tightening the bolts. As Mike mentioned, I also had the best luck with putting shims under the door hinges. It is really a tough job if you are alone so I would recommed inviting a friend over the first time you try it. You will have to take the doors off and on quite a number of times to get it right. Well, at least I did. I did make a modification to the strike plate that helped pull the door in a little tighter. Before the modification, my doors would occasionally open during a hard turn. It can be quite exciting when that happens. Well good luck and remember, the doors fit better after about 3 pints. MIchael Rogers 1969 1600GT # 5241
