I almost wrote one of these replies too but then noticed the subject line.
Logic Express doesnt have a dongle anymore (if it ever did)..
Its like all the other iApps except Logic Pro, just a serial # needed 
for install.

Pete, there was a book that came out from Apple on Logic 6 Pro (sorry 
the name escapes me at the moment perhaps someone else here can refresh 
my memory) that came with a dongle that was authorized for a 30 day 
trial of Logic Pro.. This dongle works for Sound Diver OS X.. Might 
wanna see if you can locate a copy of that at a Barnes and Noble or 
something.. The book may help with getting around Logic Express while 
youre at it, and at the same time you can then use Sound Diver OS X..
