Factory Patch tape

Factory Patch tape

2004-10-10 by esasafrazz@fastmail.fm

I have the origional SX210 factory patch data tape. It would be nice to
digitially record this, test it and upload to the Yahoo files section
of the list site, but I do not have a tape deck any longer. Would any
one be up to doing this. I must request that i get the tape back
though.
Nothing exciting patch wise, but if you loose your memory a good way of
getting starting blocks back.

I can record digitally, but I think it would be better to load the sx
210, then download to a wave file to share.. I understand someone does
that, but I still use the data tape method. My computer skills are not
good enough to make sound files or wave files to upload to a web
page-- just via e-mail..

But then again, there might not be that many sx210's outhere who would
need the patches. I plan to attempt a patch dump(fairly) soon.. but
not right away. I could demo to a CD and return both to you, to finish
the computer part..

just a thought

But, I would not want the original tape responsibility. I think it
best for you to find someone with a dual cassette and copy the data
tape to mail out.

Back to Idea #1. It may be done via wave file some have said.
My converter is on the cd burner.
I, 4 track to cd.

So if possible , dumping to a wave file would be easiest.

What you think?

I have the original chart for the factory presets.
Nothing exciting.

Anyway, the easiest wat is to use 44/16 wave files for uploading and
downloading presets.

Re: Factory Patch tape

2004-10-13 by gil_we

44KHz 16bit files, use Soundforge or Wavelab

Connect Tape Out to PC sound card's line in and record the signal
into the recorder software, save file as 44KHz 16bit (standard CD
quality).

To play back connect card's line out into Tape in and playback (use
the Load/Save option of course)
