I don't like the original SX210 patches, make you own ones :) --- In kawai_sx210@yahoogroups.com, "texhand" <texhand@y...> wrote: > anyone have the Harpsicd patch. i would really love getting that one. > I have most of those in my manual copy for the 240 but not the harpsicd.

The harpsicd is the only original patch for the sx240, that I do not have. I will work on a spread sheet that can be used to share patches and upload to this group.. But I am shure it will be time consuming,, so if yall are good at making excell spreadsheet for patch sharing for the sx 210 and sx 240 that may be valuable to this group.. I luckially have most of all the original patches for the sx's for historical sake and will share if I can get the time and format..

Anyone know how to reverse the chord memory effect other than going to Poly8 mode ? Also, Anyone thought about a mod that could control the filter freq. from VC pedal ? I think this would be very useful.

You have a patch with Chord memory effect on it and you want to reverse it back to no effect.

I have had these synths for 2 years and still misunderstand them,, but it is getting better all the time.

yes, you can just turn the switch off, but if you turn the switch on again its back, and I want to revert back to no effect with 0 interval. Yes a neat effect that can really help substitute for not having a 2nd true osc and helping creat esemitone effects like 5th, 7th, etc.

Do you mean how to switch to mono mode but with a single note in the chord memory ? if so turning the Chord Memory on and off will do so. --- In kawai_sx210@yahoogroups.com, "texhand" <texhand@y...> wrote: > --- In kawai_sx210@yahoogroups.com, esasafrazz@f... wrote: > I guess you would have to waiste a memory patch slot close by without > the cord memory.... when i get on a roll, I have several in a roll to > switch for variation. > > > > > > yes, you can just turn the switch off, but if you turn the switch on > > again its back, and I want to revert back to no effect with 0 interval. > > > > Yes a neat effect that can really help substitute for not having a 2nd > > true osc and helping creat esemitone effects like 5th, 7th, etc. > > > > On Sep 27, 2004, at 7:41 PM, texhand wrote: > > > > > --- In kawai_sx210@yahoogroups.com, esasafrazz@f... wrote: > > > This is not one of my favorite features, I have only played with it > > > some... usually turns my good patch into ear wretching sounds,,, > but i > > > am shure it does have usefulness. You may not be exactly where you wand in the wave cosmos ,,but you are off., I see nothing as flexable in a 8 voice as the sx210. The absence of a second oscillator is a blessing. The sx210 can do beautiful sounds as well so it is tops in my book. I would loved to have some pink noise I like not haveing to loop, sample, etc to get the fat sounds, all 8 channels in mono is FAT
