nice work

nice work

Haven't had time to cover all the files and links, but thanks for the
work relating to the kawai sx 210. Now, I am scared. I have both a 240
and 210 and am sure the barreries are original. The 240 has not
leaked, because i have been inside to fix a short but my 210 is
untouched. Both work well and am seeking advice to change the
batterys. Can one just remove the old battery, connect with wire to a
holder to a 3v cell and hang off the back? or is there the charging
voltage to deal with? If no damage exists.

You should replace it with the exact specifications NiCad and NiCad
only battery. There's voltage and Amperage, and it's faily easy to
replace, just get the same specification battery cut out the older
one and solder the new one in (with the correct direction of course).
But I really suggest you'll get a pro. to do it if you're not have
any experience with electronics.

...and like with every new Nicad battery you should chatge if fully
on the first charge which means letting the synth work a day without
powering off.

Move to quarantaine
