The Kawai & Teisco Analog Synths Group

Anyone plan on replacing their Kawai SX-240 battery...one website :

I got a new battery ( 3.6V 170mAh Rechargeable Ni-Cad battery ) from 
them for 0.75$...I dont think any other place can beat that.
I just snipped the leads off the old battery,soldered the left over 
leads from the main board onto the battery with wires,and stuck it 
inside a D size battery holder that I secured to the inside with 
plastic ties.My battery showed no signs of wear whatsoever even tho it 
was from 1984(stamped on it) but I thought I shouldn't chance it.
Make sure after replacing the battery you leave it on for 3-4 hours to 
get it fully charged.
Keep these synths alive,a beast disguised in a kawai.
