Prize for trying MIS inks with Epson R220

Prize for trying MIS inks with Epson R220

2006-04-24 by James Newton

I'm chomping at the bits to see if this MIS ink will work for direct
resist printing on thin copper clad boards. Like Mycroft, it amazes
me that no one has duplicated Volkan's results.

Rather than just complain about it, I'll put my money where my mouth
is and offer a $50 reward for anyone who can duplicate the results
and send me (and this list of course) a description of exactly what
they did along with some pictures and a photo of the results. I host
the PICList web site and mailing list and I know my subscribers and
web browsers would love to see the result, so I will require non-
exclusive rights to publish that on a page at my site.

Hopefully that will remove anyone financial concerns about buying
the ink, cartridge, pcb stock, or whatever else. I can't wait to see
if this works out! It's really exciting.

I think chucking money at it is not yet required, several people are in
the process of trying to duplicate it but it takes time to order the ink
etc.

Since I have the ink, and some really thin PCB, and several Epsons
with straight through paths, I guess I should get off my behind!
