A-183-2 suitable for this?

A-183-2 suitable for this?

2010-10-22 by richyho@btopenworld.com

Hi all/Dieter

I have a module that puts out voltages in the range 0 to +4V. I would like to offset and amplify this voltage range to -4 to +4V (that is amplify x2 and offset by -4V).

Is this the right module to do this job?

Thanks

Richard

And it also does the 2x amplification? I seem to remember reading that it does.

Thanks Dieter

Yes, but you have to change the position of the JP3 jumper. The factory
setting is 0...+5V offset (upper position of the jumper). You have to change
it to the lower position (-5V...+5V offset).

Best wishes
