Re: A154 clock function

Ethan (my friend from the Oberheim Matrix group), what you say is
true. However, I already have several clocks: some A110s, an A111,
some A145s, an A147 (right next to the A155 to use as a clock source),
an A190 and an A191. Why should I want yet another one?

I'm willing to be convinced, but no one has made the case.

Charles, I think that's what's called hitting the nail on the head.

What is the range of the A154 clock generator, anyway? How slow should
it be able to run? How fast? Should it extend up into the audio range
to support use of the A155 as a graphic VCO?

What are the CV characteristics of the A154 clock generator? Is it
volt/octave, to support use of the A155 as a graphic VCO, or is it
something else? Should it be switchable?

I'll say it again, shouldn't it be able to either free run, or sync to
an incoming clock signal? What if I want to modulate the pulse width
when I'm using the A190 clock? Why can't the A154 clock generator
support this?

Joe
