Hi Ricardo > When I asked > about the G6 connections he said: "ask Doepfer" Ummmh. He is an experienced supporter ;-). I work in support for a large businesse application, and sometimes it feels like the two words "ask Microsoft" are the most said words in this job... > Regarding the > connection of the Mean Well input to the G6 Ac input , Where's the > best place to do this? , As you suggested , i shouldn't wire them to > those connectors with blue caps (3rd picture) because they are > connected with the fuses. So then , should i wire them together with > the G6 black and blue AC input cables in their own connectors in the > PSU board? Does it matter which cable goes to each connector? Do not wire them to the Doepfer PSU at all. They should have there own connection to the mains. Either you add another power connector in the rear panel. Or * you add two fuse holders to the rear panel (like http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/526245) * connect the former black cable from the mains connector to these two fuseholders. * connect the other contact of one of the fuse holders to the black connector of the Doepfer PSU and the other fuse holder to one of the AC-In connectors of the Mean Well PSU. * connect the former blue cable from the mains connector to the other AC connector of both PSUs * pick the fuse from the fuse holder in the mains socket and put it into the new fuse holder for the Doepfer PSU * place a 0.4A 250V fuse in the new fuse holder for the Mean Well PSU * put a 6.3A 250V fuse in the original fuse holder in the mains socket.
