Thanks for the info and for posting the pictures.  Inspiring --
definitely looks like the hot ticket.  Panel and knob size and jack
durability are basically the only shortcomings of the Doepfer that I can
see.

Do you have a photo showing how you've mounted the boards to the panel?

It's somewhat dispiriting but not crucially so that doing over my
75-module system would probably run around US$2,700 or so, plus the time
investment, but that's still no doubt a savings over MOTM and probably
at least in line with Synthesizers.com if not cheaper.
Sythesizers.com's cabinets would be a logical elegant finishing touch.  

Perhaps doing this kind of work would be a nice sideline for someone --
there'd definitely be economies of scale.  In fact it would be extremely
nice if Doepfer were able to offer this kind of larger panel size or
and/or retrofit to interested customers.
