Paul, Now that MIS is selling a 7-position set of UltraTones, do you anticipate creating a workflow and curves for the Epson 7600/9600 printers anytime in the near future. Pleeeaasssse say yes! Thanks for all the contributions you make to this forum.

Pleeeaasssse say yes! Unfortunately, I don't have a 7600 (or 2200 for that matter), so I can't really do anything with or for those machines. Right now I'm working with a 1280 and want to get good, pigment B&W solutions to some specific groups who often don't use Photoshop and don't want to bother with workflows. So, until this project is done (or crashes -- but it's looking good now), I won't have time to do anything else in the ink area. (By the way, I just returned from a trip to the Patriarch Grove of Bristlecone Pines in the White Mountains, above Big Pine in California. I highly recommend the trip. These 4000 year old trees live in a moonscape that makes for some great photo ops.) Paul http://www.PaulRoark.com

For all that you do on workflows and curves for MIS products, which surely add to their sales, a piddly $3k investment in a 7600 on MIS's part would seem to be the least they could do! Hey MIS, are you listening?? There's a big market out there for this. If a 7600 workflow and curves were available I suspect that it would take about a month of additional ink sales for MIS to cover the cost of a 7600 for Paul. Do you guys realize how fast these printers are STILL flying off the shelves?
