Digital Black and White Pint exchange

2015-07-13 by kellyhealy@...

GREETINGS ALL
I would like to submit a little information about a Yahoo group I am a member of.
The” Digital Black and white print Exchange”.

It is all about exchanging 12 - 15 digital black and white prints each month. There is a great satisfaction in having a “Print in Hand” A lot of fine photographs are included each month There is no requirement as to experience, just a desire to share your efforts.
It is an opportunity to experience varied papers, ink sets and workflows. A data sheet is included with each photo. This is an opportunity to share your prints as well as learn a great deal about what is available. Comments are also encouraged but not required. There is an extensive archive of prints submitted over the last 13 years. Membership required to view. A recent exchange included the variety listed below.
How it works
Sign up for the group
Monthly sign up opens on the first of the month. There is an announcement for that sign up.
The participation list closes on the 15 of the month no matter how many ar signed up. There are full time participants and sign up is on a first come basis for remaining slots.
Prints need to be sent by the first of the month of the exchange to a repackager volunteer for distribution by the 15th of the month. The 15th is a hard deadline.
Information for shipping is on the sign up page.
I have been a member since 2007 and have learned much from the exchanges and look forward to sitting down and viewing a variety of prints each month. The variety of subject matter, printing material and workflow is of great benefit.

I hope some will consider participating
Have a great day
Kelly Healy
P.S
There is also a Digital Color Print Exchange that works in the same way.
