Trying to get started

Hello, this is my first post so please bear with me if I cover topics which have already been covered. It is my understanding after doing some research on the Internet that the opportunities to print in black and white are somewhat limited. My understanding so far is I need an Epson printer and you use MIS carbon-based inks. But this in itself can become confusing for a beginner like myself. My requirements that I would like to meet would be: Ilford glossy paper for small sizes up to 5 x 7 Ilford Pearl paper for 8 x 10 The results I would like to be compatible with silver bromide papers. I am prepared to go out and buy a new printer but the question is which one? For this is stand-alone printer Wi-Fi could be an advantage but not essential. Budget £100 gbp It seems there are different inks for the different results that you require so which inks would I choose? Is there any outlet for these inks in the UK, I can't find anything on the Internet. I hope that someone can give me enough information to get me started Thanks, Robert
