Yes. There is a limit though like on the HP Z3100 of about a foot wide
but even then there are tricks to overcome that.

Most large format printers, Epson, HP, and Canon, have a minimum page size of 8.5 x 11, but like Ernst said, there are ways to overcome this.

Thanks for the info guys! I'm still on the fence about getting a large format printer. my current projects work fine at 13 x 19.
I plan on working on some panoramics and landscapes in the future and thought 30inches as the right size. but most work would be smaller so thought about using smaller rolls for other works.
