More Comments on Red River Paper

Thank you for all your comments and help with my questions on Red River Fine Art White paper. I'm still sorting out the kinks in my black and white printing. I've been using two different ink sets (three if you count UT14 less Ebony black) and four different papers. It's easy to get confused as to what works best with what - even with careful note taking! In going over some older notes and step scale prints last night, I happened to notice that one of the best step scale ramps I have ever printed is UT14 ink (full set, or so my notes say) on Red River Arctic Polar Gloss using the 1400-UT14-Kirkland-Glossy-N-1-NCA.icc and UT14-Kirkland-Gloss-N-1.acv. It is a near perfect ramp with neutral coloration. It may be that Costco Kirkland and RR APG are the same paper, or this may just be a happy coincidence. Either way, I think I should attempt to repeat this and document it better. It could be a real winner of a combination.
