Printer Maintance.

This was part of a mailing I received from Inkjet Mall. I have seen many post of people asking how to clean Epson printers, and thought they would like to watch this Video: http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.362672/it.I/id.222/.f I purchased a used R1800 three weeks ago, and none of the heads had a good nozzle check. By being patient, and following many of the steps in this Video, I was able to get all nozzles firing again. I purchase this printer used, and from the dates on the ink cartridges installed, it had been sitting for about three years. One additional step I took which was not in the video, was to replace all the OEM ink cartridges with ones filled with the pink Inkjet Mall cleaning solution, and running cleaning cycles with them. I made my cleaning cartridges by filling the cartridges with about 10% of the ink of the color for that head, and the rest the cleaning solution. That way you can see the results of the nozzle test.
