In Lightroom 3 you can create customer POINT curves.   This will effect
density of the complete image.

I'm downloading the beta LR3 and will look closely at what we can and cannot do with it.  The beta expiration is June 30.  So, we can experiment with and discuss it at the GT workshop.

Frankly, I'm not a big fan of having to learn more software, but LR appears to be very popular, and LR3 is getting a lot of buzz about significantly better performance.

Paul,

 

The lightroom Curves are similar to that in Camera Raw.   Some of the
differences are that you can save the Curve in RAW and you save or create a
preset in LR3.      I am not sure you will have the tools and data to create
in the same method that you use.

 

I look forward seeing what you come up with in the GT workshop.
