all the 2200 prints on glossy and lustre type papers that I have seen do not look as good to me as matte paper prints behind glass. the bronzing etc. is not terrible, but the pigment just seems to lay better on a matte paper. ...lots of people are happy enough with it on other papers, just not me... ...and compared to a dye based printer, I think that color from a 1280 is probably better on any paper, but just slightly on matte... and it won't last the 90+ years that you'll get from the 2200. mark --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Paul D.
