Re: Does anyone know if Inksupply.com (MIS Associates, Inc.) has gone out of business?

Hello. I've looked at many of the emails on this subject. I'll add my little tidbit, and hopefully you can draw a little bit of comfort from it.

I came upon MIS/Inksupply.com a few years ago. I bought a CIS from them for my then Epson 2200.The last several years I have done most of my heavy duty printing via my Epson 7900 (for which Jon Cone's group makes excellent replacement inks and carts for the pricey OEM stuff).

My next to last order from Inksupply took an inordinate amount of time, including multiple emails, periods of silence, etc. I, too, reached a Rubicon and wrote them an on-fire email. Then, I heard from them. The interval seemed as if they had gone out of business or something. But, the note back was conciliatory and offered a reasonable explanation for the delay in shipping (though its partner explanation left some to be desired).

In short, I kept my order open and within a few days of my complaint my ink arrived exactly on the date their earlier note specced. Since then, I have not experienced any delays or lack of a forthright declaration; in full disclosure, I have not ordered ink for my Epson 1430 as I use dye ink (which doesn't have the issues pigment ink can have) so a righteous quantity can survive a while for non-critical work.

I don't work for Inksupply, own anything of the company, so have no interest in their fortunes, except as a supplier of good quality ink at a reasonable price...
That period where I did not hear anything from them was exasperating, frustrating and anger-provoking. True. Then, they came through (as I hoped) and so, I am still willing to do business with them.

Anyway, just thought I'd toss this onto the mix...
