Ihave been refilling for 20 years and several years ago bought a 1430 and had ARC problems. I finally went back to OEM cartridges and a chip resetter and have not had an issue. I buy empty OEM carts on Ebay. Some where around 20 to 30 resets the chip dies and can not be reset so reset prior to filling to avoid wasting ink. Bill Lewis
