Musiciansbuy.com reputation

Musiciansbuy.com reputation

2003-01-31 by Brett <baaron_123@yahoo.com>

Musiciansbuy.com is having a pretty sale on their DTXP2, throwing a
throne, bass pedal, headphones, and DTXP2 crash course book and CD-
ROM in the price for $999.99. Has anyone ever had any experiance
with them? Good reputaion? The pedal they are including in the deal
is the Yamaha fp62010, which I believe is an earlier model? any
thoughts on this pedal? The 'net barely has any info on it!

Also, has anyone ever had any experience with Pacific Drums pedals?
Their DP402 double pedal is on sale for $99.99 from $235.00 at
musiciansfriend.com. Decent pedal? I hope so for that price!

Thanks for the help, people. I'm getting that much closer to getting
my DTXP2!

Brett,

Someone else raised the same question about the Musiciansbuy
package. I suggested checking out the Riksmusic.com deal, too, and
he ended up going with it, even though the nominal price was $50
higher:

Yamaha DTEXPRESS II, DS9XPS II
$1,049.00 with kick pedal, throne & headphones

ATH-D40fs Audio Technica headphones
DS-640 Yamaha drum throne
FP-7210 Yamaha kick pedal
1- DTXPIIU Module
4 - TP65 single zone pads
1 - TP65s 3 zone snare pad
1 - PCY65s Dual zone cymbal
1 - PCY65 Cymbal
1 - KP65 Kick tower
1 - HH65 high hat controller
1 - RS-65 Rack System

Riks is less big business, and I think the extras are a bit better
(I can vouch for the pedal).

Ed
