PLEASE HELP!! Cakewalk2002

2001-12-20 by dtxdrummer2002

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this whole midi thing. So far i've been able to
hook up the dtx to my pc and get drum sounds.
the problem is I get a click sound for the snare and a block sound
out of the bass drum. Can anyone please help me?

Yes, this is a standard problem with the DTX. You need to go into the global note settings on the DTX for the snare and kick and adjust the note to what CakeWalk (or Cubase VST) expects - then everything works fine. I'm not near my setup at the moment so I can't give you exact details.
