Unless you use a mixer (audio outputs from the Yamahas to audio inputs on the mixer--not MIDI), and plan on adding a lot of new pads to your kit, you may be wasting money on a second module. Otherwise, buy a Roland TMC-6 for extra inputs and connect it to your current DTXPIIU via MIDI to draw your voices for them. You'll have a limited number of free midi notes in your module to use, but under ordinary conditions, it'll probably be enough. That's basically what I do. So far as what mixer to get, I personally like the Rolls line of electronics for small applications like yours. The Rolls MX28, which has three stereo 1/4" L/R inputs, 1/4" outputs, and a headphone jack, is small, well made, and relatively inexpensive ($80), but I'm sure that other members will have different recommendations.
