Yamaha DTXpress/DTXplorer/DTXtreme

HI Stephanie,

First, I'm still a "newbie" with my DTXpressII, so there may be 
others with a little more perspective than whatever I have to offer. 
2nd, anything you see from Liberatusvirus is solid info - Ed was very 
helpful when I was getting started....as are most of the other 
DTXpress input. And third, here's my input:

I actually bought a Behringer 1200 KX Amp from the Guitar Center for 
$249 and I like it! Despite some reported problems others may have 
had, the KX1200 came well-protected in its box, no chips, gouges or 
other cosmetic issues, etc. It's got plenty of power, 15" speaker and 
has inputs/outputs for most musicians' needs. It sounds "clean", 
handles the bass thumping nicely with no buzzes/hisses, and overall, 
I'm pleased. I wanted to buy "new" and have a warranty if something 
went haywire, but that's just personal preference. For a decent 
economical approach, I'd at least check out the Behringer and see if 
it fits your needs. Adios. - Draker
