I'd also add that you should be using a light stick on the rubber pads. A heavy stick like a 5A will be torture on your hands and wrists after a while. I use Pro Mark 747 Hickory's. I've tried several brands and models but nothing has the 747's size and light weight. I have a pair of Vic Firth Terry Bozzio Phase Ones that I like, but they are a little heavier than the 747's. I use them occasionally but find that repeated use causes sore hands and wrists. ____________________________ Jim
