I hope that you solved that crosstalk problem between the hat and the snare. The only cymbal that I've had trouble getting to work adequately through Yamaha electronics is the Hart dual-zone ride. Rolands work, and the Pintech Zenbal is terrific, either in mono or stereo (bow and rim, like the Yamahas). My new favorite is the Visu- lite 18" dual-zone ride. It is elegant looking (mine is translucent grey) and responsive. It comes in either dual-zone (separate trigger for the bell) or single zone (no bell). I hope to do a full report in a few days when I've had more time with it. You can take a good look and get a demo of Visu-lite's cymbals in action at their website. If you do, check out the hi hat. At this point, there is only a Roland version, but a Yamaha compatible hi hat assembly is well in progress. --- In DTXpress@yahoogroups.com, "jadiebooshkie <jadiebooshkie@y...>" <jadiebooshkie@y...> wrote: > Just wondering...what other brands of cymbals will work with the > DTExpress II...namely dual zones?
