You'll have to explain it to me. I can't trace the wiring to the TD-8 very well. My Visu-lite ride has a double lead from the cymbal, allowing separate feeds to independent inputs for bow and bell w/o choking. Are you saying that your bell will choke the cymbal by accident, or by design, via a single stereo cable to the Roland module? In other words, did Tom Picard sell the ride to you with the understanding that it would work that way, or did you stumble on it? Maybe this is a feature of the TD-8 and 10 modules that Yamahas don't duplicate, or I'm reading you wrong.
