Belated merry christmas.

2011-12-28 by cliffe123

Hi folks, everything has been so quite here lately but hope you all had such a wonderful christmas. I'm still fooling around with my VZ and still comming up with new sounds altoghether different and very strange. I even may have couple of patches that can lend itelf an amazing effect within a VZ1. Early Jean Michel Jarre effect is one of them I was working on. Other sounds I may later put a patch out on data sheet like the ep, it should be a close to a real sounding rhodes ep it wasnt really yet accomplished on a VZ!! Sorry I Havn't been here in such a long time but anyway advance happy new year.

Cliff;

    Merry Christmas to you and all the other VZers still using this wonderful Casio equipment. I ended up picking up a VZ-8M this year to expand the polyphony of my VZ-1, of course I have a RAM card to make it all possible. Cliff is the ever present master mind with new patches and explorations, way to go dude.

    Videos of some of my jams and experiments can be seen via my you tube channel => ISOTROPOSPHERE

Happy New Year as well, VZ's rule.

Doug

I also hold Cliff's VZ patch design skills in high esteem and look forward to hearing what he has come up with. (Any ambient or electronicky patches yet?)

Congrats on the VZ-8m. I like mine. (I will have to check out your VZ on your YouTube channel.)

Happy newyears eve and thanks for the kind words. Sorry if I been late but anyway heres an example VZ patch I was working on(70's EP-2) and it should be close to a real sounding rhodes ep. For now it's on data sheet and will be included on my new set of patches or updated new ones. Some will be just plain unheard of. Ambient, electronic, space trance and others I think it's the best way to describe them. The patch I was talking about was blown up to 1280x1024 for a better view and can be found or downloaded at: http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/1674/sep2i.jpg

I manage to include a wonderful VZ synth poster like picture and can be downloaded at:
http://img815.imageshack.us/img815/2420/thevz1.jpg

Feel free to copy them, paste them, publish them, share them with your friends and everyone. Still more to come and untill then HAPPY NEWYEAR ! ! !

Ps...... We can always wait later on if the VZ data sheet is too hard to read or time consuming.

Hey, Cliff.

   When I saw your data sheet, I remember that at some point over the past 2 years, I created an excel spreadsheet based on the VZ patch template. If that would be helpful to you, I could try to find it.

   If you prefer doing it by hand, that's cool. I just thought I'd offer. Looking forward to hearing your ambient, electronic, space, etc. patches!

   Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2012!

Steve
