Dale, Thx 4 the tip. Unfortunately, from what I can make out from testing it myself, powering up after the leak seems to have blown some of the chips, which I've never been able to find. A friend who used to repair synths for a living tried for a long time but without success. My only hope now is that some other Seil owner may have one they are selling, that maybe has a different problem, so I can make one working synth from the two. But the only one I've seen on e-bay recently was said to have the same problem, so I don't have much hope. Thx anyway, Nigel -----Original Message----- From: Dale Kay [mailto:admin@...] Sent: 04 January 2005 21:32 To: AN1x-list@yahoogroups.com Subject: Re: [AN1x] re an board and the prophet 5 repair the tracks... they make a pen that looks like a sharpie that allows you to re-draw the tracks. The ink per-say is silver. Works fine for jobs like this. Day job here distributes stuff like that. If any feed thrus are damaged, a small wire solder top and bottom fixes that. I view it like re-building a old watch. You must take your time, have a steady hand and use the right stuff if you can or make due. Dale
