This is theoretical. I drew the free eg pattern but I haven't had time to actually try it on my board. If you're nuts, you should be able to get polyphonic sequences using the free eg. Turn on AN1X edit, go to the free eg edit. Set the controls for VCO 2 pitch. Set the length for 8 bars, There's 192 steps which means if you have 8 bars, every 3 steps is an 1/8th note.Don't do this with your mouse. You'll get carpal tunnel syndrome almost immediately. Click on the arrow button then use your up arrow and your right arrow. If you're in the key of C starting at 0 and 0, up 5 and over 3 will give you a 1/8 F note. You have 4 oscillators if you use dual mode so use the sequencer to control the note of osc 1 scene 1 then use 3 free eg parameters to control the notes of the other oscillators. What about multi timbral? Again this is theoretical but you should be able to use the same technique to change the wave form, change the filter type etc. I used the highly scientific method of turning knobs and looking at the plateaus in AN1x edit to figure out the parameter values. After I test it, I'll post the values that change those parameters. If you use a 2 bar pattern you can get 12 steps per 8th note allowing you to become real anal and draw in pitch and filter envelopes. I'm working 12 hour days, training for my blackbelt, etc, so it might be a while before I can post any patches or let you know how this works. Besides, it's my wife's computer and she's playing solitaire 24/7. If you're nuts enough to try this let me know how it works. Rainbow Jimmy
