Jimmy & Jeff, If I know Jimmy by now, he's all atwitchin' since you talked about internal organs. But not to worry, Jim me mon... it is a simple fix for a tech, should run under $100 at the most. The costs will be due to having bench time to get to the offending pot (the tech name for the control under the knob) and possibly sourcing an identical replacement. IIRC someone on the list said that they had found the correct part from a major supplier like Digi-Key or Mouser. Any help?
