Polar - Rectangular Conversion Programs

Go to Rick Wendels folder and download the Polar - Rectangular Conversion Programs PDF. These programs allow you to switch quickly between Polar and Rectangular by pressing a program soft key you locate where needed.

Wow, 1.3meg for a program that should take less the 1k. And you still have to enter it in from scratch. Even the pdf shouldn't be that big. For programming, of any kind, efficient data management goes hand-in-hand with efficient code.

Why don't you just post the binary of a program? Simpler to do, far easier for the downloader.

Sorry the program is too cumbersome for you. The PDF was converted from a JPEG image so I chose medium quality. I can make that smaller, but I'd just put it in my shared files and available downloads before I'd waste time doing that. You can make the program a lot smaller if you get rid of the stack commands. I used a bunch of those so that all four numbers would be shown consecutively. I don't know what you mean by binary code programming. I'm familiar with user RPL and really don't need to worry that much about memory usage. I'm writing a program with a choose box that allows the user to add, subtract, multiply, divide and convert polar and rectangular complex numbers. I'm looking forward to your new improved version. Hopefully you can come up with something better.

I meant post the program itself instead of a pdf file. Can't you just drag the program from the SD card when it's in your PC? I think it may have to be in the root directory of the card.

I just use what's built into the calculator.

Yes. That's a great idea. Problem is I haven't figured out what you do if you want to plug it into your computer and upload and download and copy stuff to text files. I just started learning it. I would like to be able to do that ASAP though. Just found my driver disc - I'll try it now - thanks.
