50g

Problem the Connect software does not recognize my new irda usb plug in
wireless bridge. installed re installed all items and drivers. Is any
one knowledgeable on the irda linking of connect software to 50g by a
irda wireless bridge device or did I just purchase the wrong gizmo to
do the job.

If it comes up as a COM port to the system, it should work. I've used
a bluetooth serial connection to wirelessly connect with the 50g.

The device you really want though is an SD card and reader. Then you
don't have to even use the silly connection software and can just drag
and drop your files much faster than any other way. Period.

Thanks for the help, I think since after the install the irda device
does not come up as a com port unless i install and have tried icommk
software but per another article it works at about 2400 baud and I
did not get it to work
